Position Description:
The Director of Day Options monitors, models, mentors, and trains staff in the provision of direct services to people with intellectual disabilities in both our York & Adams County Day Options and In-Home and Community Program. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of all services in these service lines. They develop/complete/assist with assessments, develop program needs, oversee all regulated paperwork, coordinate the training and development for individuals and staff, develop planned program activities, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and ensure the implementation of ISPs and program activities. The schedule could include evenings and weekends.

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

• Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience working with people with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) experience. Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate Degree in Human Services field preferred.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Act 13 and 33 clearances
• Certification from a licensed independent practitioner that the person is free of communicable disease
